It’s finally patio season! Here’s a list of 9 of the best dog-friendly patios in Vancouver to visit this month.

Patio season has finally arrived in Vancouver and if you want to soak up the sun with a few cocktails without having to leave your pups at home, we’re with you!

Luckily, there’s some great spots in Vancouver that allow you to keep your pup nearby so they don’t have to miss out on any of the summer fun.

The City of Vancouver does not allow dogs on patios that serve food, but the curated list below offers the perfect spot to tie your dog up by your side while you grab a bite or a happy hour drink – and some restaurants will even give your dog water, treats, and plenty of shade from the sun!

Here are 9 of the best patios in Vancouver to enjoy with your furry besties this month.

Located on the water at False Creek, this Irish pub has one of the most popular patios in the city thanks to its incredible views. This location is perfect on a hot August afternoon as it gets lots of sun, but with huge umbrellas your pup get get plenty of shade while they are tied up right beside your table.

Mahony & Sons also has a special sectioned-off patio just for dogs and their humans, so be sure to let staff know you have a dog with you to access it.
